Broward County Public Schools’ spring break is Monday, March 22, to Friday, March 26, 2027. That is the only district Weston’s public schools follow; private schools set their own dates, so check with your school. The week ends with Flamingo Gardens’ orchid show in Davie, and the city’s free parks, skate park and fishing dock are open all week.

Camps and classes

No Weston camp had published 2027 spring break dates by Oct. 10. What runs in spring:

  • Weston Racquet Club junior tennis: the 2026 winter and spring sessions ran Jan. 5 to Feb. 22 and Feb. 23 to April 19, according to the club’s programs page. Call 954-389-8666 for 2027 sessions and any break-week clinics.
  • Weston Community Center youth classes, including karate, Spanish for ages 5 to 12, mindfulness for ages 6 to 18, theater and band, are listed on the city’s classes page; call 954-389-4321 to confirm a class is running.
  • Weston YMCA Family Center, 20201 Saddle Club Road, lists day and specialty camps on its location page; it had not posted spring break camp dates.

Things to do

Flamingo Gardens, Davie. The garden’s 2027 calendar lists Panther Conservation Day on Saturday, March 20, and the 45th International Orchid and Bromeliad Show, March 26-28, the last three days of the break, according to its events page. The garden is open daily from 9:30 a.m., with last entry at 4 p.m.

Weston World Fest, Sunday, March 7, 2027, noon to 4 p.m., Weston Regional Park, 20200 Saddle Club Road. Free: country booths, a passport challenge for students, international food for sale and live performances, according to the Arts Council. It falls two weeks before the break.

Weston Foreign Film Series, Monday, March 8, 2027, 4:45 and 7:30 p.m., AMC Weston 8, 1338 SW 160th Ave. Tickets $10 on the day, if available (series page).
