Free for everyone: the festival and the family walk
The Health and Fitness Festival runs until noon at Cypress Bay and is free (the race page says it opens at 8:30 a.m.; the city’s listing says 9 a.m.), with no registration and no race entry needed. The race page promises 60-plus booths with health and fitness information and sports activities, a stage, a DJ and a raffle for a grand prize. In 2025 the city listed children’s activities, a fitness competition, massages and health checks among the booths.
At 9:15 a.m. comes the City of Weston Commission Cup and Family 1-Mile Walk. Weston’s elementary school students and their families walk to help their school win the Commission Cup trophy, which in 2025 came with a cash prize. Students sign up through commissioncup.com; families and walkers of any age can join the walk free without registering.
